GTA Spano, at the seventh edition of SDC

Last weekend, Spania GTA returned to Cantabria with one GTA Spano vehicle to participate in the “Superdeportivos Cantabria” event, where more than 200 vehicles were present.

This event, in its seventh edition, has become one of the most important international supersportcar meetings, and took place with GTA Spano as the main attraction during its fourth participation.

During the week running up to the event, GTA Spano was publicly on show at the “Centro Comercial Valle Real” in Santander to promote the event.

The event started on Friday, when the Santander City Council welcomed all the participants to the Magdalena Palace in Santander. Afterwards, all the vehicles were exhibited in the Parque de las Llamas.

The President of Cantabria, Ignacio Diego, was in charge of giving the participants the starting signal, who drove around a route through different towns. This seventh event finished on Sunday with a visit to Castro Urdiales and Santoña.

Manufactured by the Spanish company Spania GTA, The GTA Spano is a limited edition of 99 models. Its engine has 925 hp and 1220 Nm toque. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 Km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of over 370 km/h. Its chassis has been created by combining carbon fibres, titanium and Kevlar, which has become a reference in the automobile sector thanks to its great rigidity and its lightness.
